- Cottage gardening flowers in the:
- Foreground - sweetly scented lily of the valley, honesty seed pods, purple-loosestrife, marsh thistle / European marsh thistle (in the pond) and a late foxglove.
- Background - honeysuckle (arbor top), snowdrops, windflower (anemone) under the 'Pink Sensation' butterfly bush and Joe Pye weed / purple boneset behind the quince.
